Luca Zuberbühler

Luca Zuberbühler wird am 15. April 1986 in Bülach geboren. 2013 schliesst er an der Zürcher Hochschule der Künste das Bachelor Filmstudium ab. Sein Diplomfilm "Lothar” wird auf über 175 internationalen Festivals gezeigt und gewinnt Preise, darunter den H. R. Giger Narcisse Award und den Méliès d'Argent für den besten europäischen Fantasy-Kurzfilm. 2016 zieht er nach Brüssel, um sich dort auf Schauspielführung zu konzentrieren. Er studiert an der LUCA School of Arts und im Atelier de Direction d’Acteurs bei Beatriz Flores Silva. Mit Improvisationstheater entsteht sein Master Abschlussfilm "Existe!”, der seit 2019 auf Festivals zu sehen ist. Nach dem Fokus auf die Regie wird das Drehbuchschreiben für ihn zum wichtigsten Element. Für die Entwicklung seines Debütspielfilms wird Luca Zuberbühler 2021 in die Drehbuchwerkstatt München aufgenommen. Er ist ein Filmfan und mag fast alle Genres, überzeichnete wie auch extrem subtile Filme. Er selbst schreibt am liebsten gesellschaftskritische Fantasy-Geschichten.
