Character Descriptions:
• Maria (Mother / Older Sister)

• Age Range: 25–50
• Description: Warm, pragmatic, perceptive, and quietly supportive. Maria is Anita’s emotional pillar in the film, balancing a demanding professional life with single parenthood to embody resilience without rigidity. She is attentive without being intrusive—noticing emotional shifts even when she doesn’t fully understand them, offering support through actions rather than lectures. Her relationship with Anita is grounded in trust and gentle encouragement, rather than pushing her toward conventional success or romantic fulfillment.
  

• Chloe (Best Friend)

• Age Range: 16–26
• Description: Warm, pragmatic, perceptive, and quietly supportive. Chloe is Anita’s emotional anchor and moral compass. A lover of literature and storytelling, she frames life through metaphor and narrative, often recognizing emotional truths before others do. While outwardly supportive and humorous, Chloe carries her own unspoken feelings, adding subtle emotional complexity to her role. She represents unconditional support—encouraging Anita to take risks, but also respecting her final choice to walk away.
