We are casting Episode 1 of The Threshold, an indie surrealist Web Series filmed in the scenic landscapes near Thun, Switzerland.
This project prioritizes pure storytelling, raw creative freedom, and the joy of acting over commercial formulas.

About: The Threshold is a surrealist Web Series centered on a woman caught between her deep desire to prove herself and her overwhelming fear of her own potential. Set against disorienting, transitional spaces, the story serves as a visual and psychological dance through uncertainty. As she navigates shifting environments and mysterious encounters, forced to confront the anxiety of decision-making and learn to exist alongside the unpredictable, uncontrollable nature of life itself.
Open Roles
LEAD (On-Set): Female, 20–30. Independent, determined, ambitious.
MAN DRESSED IN BLACK (Supporting, On-Set): Male, 30–50. Deep voice, commanding, eerie presence.
MICHAEL (Supporting, On-Set): Male, 25–40. Warm yet visibly anxious retreat host.
MARTIN (Voice Only): Male, 20–32. Sarcastic, indifferent best friend.
ASHLEY (Voice Only): Female, 20–25. Caring, protective, worried friend.
Production Details
Dates First Episode: 1–2 filming days in November/December 2026 (primarily outdoor shoots).
Commitment: 1 episode every 2 months max. (Season one - around 16 episodes)
Experience: No prior acting experience required! Great for newcomers
