CASTING CALL | Lead Actor for Short Film (Paid)

Title: ANATOMY OF A PRESIDENT

Logline: In a society that trades the President's body like a stock index, a ruthless Wall Street analyst is so fixed on diagnosing the president’s cough, that he fails to notice World War 3 erupting around him.

We are searching for a lead actor to play “Ballard” in a dystopian political short film. The short film is adapted from the short story “The Secret History of WW3” by J.G. Ballard.

Ballard Description:

Ballard is a young analyst at a major bank. He’s sharp, arrogant, ruthless and a sociopath. A Harvard alumni, he carries arrogance pushed to the extreme. Over the course of the film, he presents himself impeccable, but over the course of the film starts breaking down as his job is threatened, and WW3 starts. He carries an intense, immaculate corporate presentation that masks a deeply unhinged undercurrent.

Ethnicity: Caucasian

Age Range: 25 – 35

Language: Must speak native English, with either an American accent or neutral accent.

The project is paid. We’re still in preproduction and financing phase, but actors will be given a fair compensation.
