Casting Call - short film in Zurich (November/December)
We are seeking one actress and three actors who are native speakers or have a very good command of English.
Filming is scheduled for the second half of November or early December 2025.

Synopsis of Project:
A man and a woman enter the restaurant terrace and sit down at separate tables, with their backs to each other.
They order the same meals at the same moment from the waiters and are served, eat, finish and pay simultaneously.
The two get up and leave in opposite directions at the same time with both forgetting their newspapers behind.
A moment later, they return from opposite directions. The two pick up their newspapers, but drop them and bang heads when they bend down to get them.
Now they finally notice each other, come face to face and immediately make contact.
Who we are
Cinematter is an international independent group based in Zurich, dedicated to creating its own non-commercial projects. We’re looking for aspiring actors and actresses who want to grow their acting skills with us through open, cooperative collaboration.

Young (25-35) business woman. Smart, attractive, moves confidently and gracefully, but she’s undecided sometimes. Wardrobe: Must have a raincoat - patterned, light or red colored, jacket and skirt with high heel shoes.
Good-fluent English
Man
Young (25-35) business man. Well looking, natural, graceful movement, calm and polite. Focused on his business, doesn’t always pay attention to what’s happening around him.
Wardrobe: Dark raincoat or overcoat and dark blue suit, tie and dark shoes.

Waiter 1
Age: 25-50) Man or woman, medium height and weight. The waiter offers menu suggestions. Wardrobe- must have white shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Age: 25-50) Man or woman, medium height and weight. The waiter offers menu suggestions. Wardrobe- must have white shirt, black pants and black shoes.
