CASTING CALL — Short Film · Mystery / Coming-of-Age Drama

We're casting a supporting role in an upcoming short film, a mix of mystery and coming-of-age that deals with identity, memory, and buried trauma. The film is in English.

We're looking for a motivated actor with strong emotional presence, someone who can give a natural, grounded performance and do a lot with a little.

This is an unpaid role, but we cover travel costs and provide meals on the shoot days.

Shoot dates:

Friday 5 & Saturday 6 September 2026 (both days)

Location: Brugg, Aargau

ROLE — Mr. Dalton (supporting)

A man who has raised the protagonist as his own. Calm, intelligent and emotionally restrained, often the mediator in the room, but carrying something he's kept hidden for years. His restraint holds for most of the film, then breaks in one quiet, deeply emotional scene near the end.

Playing age: 40–50

Language: English, native or near-native
