Crew Call – Camera Operator Needed (Student Film, Unpaid)

I’m looking for a Camera Operator for a student film shoot this Sunday (16,8.2026) in Zürich. This is an unpaid collaboration, ideal for someone who wants hands‑on experience and enjoys small creative projects.

You should be comfortable with camera work and tripods, and able to handle simple setups confidently. I have linked the script (The Bench) so you can get a clear idea of the tone and scenes.

Short Synopsis:
Jamie spends years sitting on a park bench while life‑changing opportunities come to him — a dream job, a marathon, stand‑up comedy, travel. Each time, he refuses out of fear. In the end, a friend tells him the truth: he had chances, but never took them, and that’s why nothing in his life changed.

Requirements:

• Must live in Zürich

• Available this Sunday

• Confident with camera handling + tripods

• Open to working unpaid on a student film

• Bonus: If you have your own gear (camera, mics, or even a phone you’d be willing to use for the shoot)

• I also speak German, so communication can be in English or German

The shoot will take around 3–4 hours.
