Crew Needed: 2 Short Films (Lakorn Style) | NL & Berlin

For our upcoming no-budget international short film projects, we are looking for dedicated crew members for a long-term collaboration!

We are producing two projects back-to-back in November 2026:

  1. Short Film Project 1 (PAZZ Festival Challenge):

    • Format: 20–60 seconds (16:9)

    • Script Status: Completed

    • Location & Timeline: Shooting in Berlin during the first week of November (1 day shoot). Deadline for submission is November 15th!

  2. Main Project: BLOODLINES

    • Format: Short Drama (approx. 15 minutes), targeted for international film festival submissions starting December 2026.

    • Script Status: Completed.

    • Genre/Style: Dramatic family story in the Asian/Thai Lakorn and Saksri style, featuring high-contrast Chiaroscuro lighting and 2.39:1 Cinemascope visuals.

    • Storyline: Centered around Prae, who must resist an arranged marriage to Jai, as she is secretly in love with Jai’s sister, Maprang—an emotional battle for love, identity, and personal freedom.

    • Language: Shot entirely in English (with minor Thai dialogue elements).

    • Timeline: Shooting in the Netherlands during the second week of November over a weekend (Friday: Rehearsals, Saturday: Principal Photography, Sunday: Pickup Shots/Buffer day).

Who We Are Looking For:

We are seeking crew members for:

  • Camera / DP & Lighting (Gaffer/Grip)

  • Sound Recording & Audio

  • Directing Assistance & Script Supervision

  • Post-Production (Editing, Color Grading, Sound Design)

Location & Travel Requirements:

Since this is a no-budget project to save on travel expenses:

  • We are primarily looking for crew members based near the Netherlands / Dutch-German border region or those with accommodation options in Berlin or the Netherlands (e.g., family, friends, or local residence).

  • Crew members who are willing to travel to Berlin for the 1-day shoot at their own expense are also very welcome!

What We Provide (Conditions):

  • Accommodation: Provided directly on-site at the filming location in the Netherlands (which serves as our location during the day and stay at night).

  • Catering: Food and drinks are fully provided on set for all shooting days.

  • Benefits: Focus on a strong artistic vision, festival exposure, screen credits, and building a long-term creative network for future productions.
