Screenwriter Wanted for a Mid-Length Narrative Film

Hi everyone,

My name is Brooklyn-Owen Julian Giannin Etzweiler, and I'm a director and producer based in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. I'm currently developing my fifth narrative film, which is in the concept development stage. The concept and pitch deck are complete, and the screenplay is already in progress, with roughly 40% written.

I'm now looking for an experienced screenwriter to collaborate with me on the screenplay and help bring it to its full potential. While a solid foundation is already in place, I'm looking for someone who can contribute creatively to the narrative, refine the structure, strengthen the characters and elevate the script as a whole.

This project is particularly important to me. It's the most ambitious film I've developed so far, and I see it as one of my last smaller-scale productions before moving on to larger projects. Because of that, I'm aiming to make it the strongest piece of work I can, and I'm looking for collaborators who share that level of ambition and attention to detail.

The project is a 25–30 minute mid-length rite-of-passage psychological drama. It is not an experimental film, so I'm specifically looking for someone with a strong understanding of classical storytelling, including three-act structure, character development, pacing and emotional arcs.

The project has secured funding, and a small production budget is already in place. The film is supported by the Canton of Schaffhausen and a private foundation, allowing me to assemble a professional team throughout the production.

I'm looking for someone who:

• Has previous screenwriting experience.
• Is fluent in English.
• Has a strong understanding of classic cinematic storytelling.

The goal is to have the screenplay completed by early September 2026, so I'm ideally looking for someone who is available over the coming weeks.
