The Filmhaus Basel Shorts Film Festival is looking for fresh voices and compelling stories from Switzerland and all around the world! Whether it’s Drama, Comedy, Horror, Sci-Fi, Documentary, or Animation—we offer filmmakers an international platform to showcase their work.

What to expect:

• 🏆 Monthly Awards: Opportunities for recognition and features across various genres.

• 🎥 Grand Finale in December: The year’s monthly winner films will be screened live in front of an audience in Basel, Switzerland!

• 🐉 The Basil Trophy: Win the coveted trophy inspired by Basel’s legendary Basilisk.

Rules & Details:

• Maximum Length: 30 minutes or less

• Categories: Short Films & Music Videos (all genres & experience levels welcome)
