THE NODDING DOG | Horror short film I Crew Call

For The Nodding Dog, an independent English-language psychological horror short film (approx. 11–14 minutes), we are looking for motivated crew members to join our production in Basel, Switzerland.

This is a passion project driven by a shared love of filmmaking and horror, and we're looking for creative, enthusiastic people who would enjoy bringing this story to life with us.

Open Positions:
- Director of Photography (DOP) – Sony A7 IV / FX3
- 1st Assistant Director (1st AD)
- Sound Recordist / Location Sound
- Gaffer / Lighting
- Set Designer / Props & Continuity
- Production Assistant (PA)

- Behind-the-Scenes Photographer / Videographer (BTS)

Location: Basel, Switzerland
Shoot dates: November 20–22, 2026
(Backup dates: November 27–29, 2026)
Language: English (native-level proficiency is not required for crew members)

The film will be shot primarily in an apartment over three days with a small, dedicated crew.

Production equipment will be provided. If you're applying for a camera, sound or lighting position and have access to additional equipment, feel free to mention it in your application. However, bringing your own equipment is not required.

As an independent passion project, this is an unpaid production. Meals on set and on-screen credits will be provided. IMDb and social media credits are also planned.
