CASTING CALL: MALE ACTOR WANTED FOR A SHORT FILM

We’re looking for a male actor who can play the antagonist in our cinematic no-budget short film called „The Magic Trick“.

Synopsis

In the middle of the night, a young girl, isolated after a party and a fight with her mom, finds herself alone at a bus station with a dead phone battery. It’s cold and there is no bus in her sight. Desperate, she accepts a ride from a creepy stranger. What starts as a seemingly normal ride takes a dark turn when the driver insists on performing a "magic trick."

The trick becomes horrifying as the driver intentionally hits and kills a pedestrian, leaving the girl in shock. After numerous failed attempts to escape, the driver finally releases her in the middle of nowhere. She believes she's escaped, only to discover she's the next victim of the twisted magic trick, sealing her tragic fate.

Role

Todd Grim, is a psychopath and a creepy driver, who loves to perform his dark and twisted magic tricks to strangers who accept his rides, that end up deadly though.

Requirements

• between 25 - 60 years old (playing age)
• can speak and act in English
• can drive a car
• Acting experience/ training is an advantage but not a must

Genre

Thriller, that explores the dangers of trusting strangers in the middle of the night

Filming date

Not defined yet but 1-2 days on a weekend in February or March 2024
