After studying cinema and economics at the University of Zurich, Marion Schramm took up studies at the ETH Zurich and the UDK Berlin, qualifying as an architect. Whilst studying, she also entered the film industry. She has worked as a production designer and art director on numerous films, most prominently Verdingbub, Marcello Marcello , Akte Grüninger and Youth.
